Help Me! I’m Trapped in a French Restaurant!

eating outMany years ago, when my father was in France, he tried to order a beer in a restaurant. He was served a bitter red wine drink, which he sent back, insisting he wanted beer. This happened several times before the frustrated waiter realized he wanted a “bière,” which is beer, rather than a Byrrh, which is a mixture of wine and tonic water. (My father’s French pronunciation left a great deal to be desired.)

But this doesn’t need to happen to you! In Lesson Six, Eating Out, you’ll learn how to order the food you want, and how to pronounce it as well! The sooner you begin, the sooner you’ll be able to order a dinner to die for!
